Learning Blocks

What are some of the things you learned about yourself as a student or a professional in Module I? Did you surprise yourself in any way? Were you proud of yourself? Were you at all disappointed in yourself? Why?

Module I was a very interesting 7 weeks. I felt like I learned a lot about this program as well as myself. I learned about my learning habits and how I learn in the most efficient way. I am still learning and working on my grammar skills because I had some trouble with using slang, and pronouncing my words. But I feel that is an area I am working on and will get better and will have mastered it by the end of this program. Another thing I learned is about the professional emails and the etiquette you conduct when sending an professional email. The email etiquette and the Elevator pitches were probably my favorite parts of Module I, well that and Microsoft Excel. I feel like I am learning at a very good pace and I like the way my instructors are teaching and the pace they teach. I didn't really surprise myself too much, at least not until the Tech midterm when I got a 85%. I was somewhat disappointed in myself because I wasn't completing my homework and got infractions for it, but that's something I will be working on this module and I will not have anymore unnecessary infractions.
