Internship Readiness

Being internship ready is when you know, without a doubt, that you are able and capable of going into your internship, completing the task you’re given with your best ability, and knowing you did it with great quality. Intern readiness has a lot of characteristics that tie together more than just completing your assignments and being on time. When your internship ready you have a positive attitude, you take the initiative, you help when you need to, and show the epitome of being professional, punctual, and understanding of the task given. An intern who is internship ready is able to receive feedback and use it so that they learn from their mistakes and continue to build on their strengths. If you can’t see the problems you’re having and take the steps to rectify the situation then you may not be internship ready. I have very strong qualities that I feel make me internship ready, but, at the same time, I have growth areas that I need to improve on. I know I have my growth areas but I know that by the time I make it to internship I will show my professionalism, and dependability. All of these traits I’m working on in module 3. I have already taken steps  to change my attitude, how I act in a office setting and becoming the successful man I want to become.
